This is the street my church is on. It's lined with cherry blossom trees and is completely gorgeous when the trees are in full bloom.

Okay. I've finally done what I said I was going to do before I left America almost 4 months ago...I've started a blog. This blog was made with friends and family in mind to show you all a little bit of my life here in Japan. I hope you enjoy. It's not really a "blog" b/c a "blog" is an online journal, but this isn't a journal for me. It's basically like an online photo album with some short captions to go along with pictures. So enjoy the view---out the window...

this is my kitchen complete with one burner, 5 bowls, small sink, tiny fridge that I don't use, and tiny toaster thing that burns my food:)



this is my bathroom. my toilet has a seat warmer which is really the only thing i required for my apartment. this summer i won't use it, but come winter time i'll be sorry for those without a "already-been-sat-on" feel to it.

this is my sink/get ready area the size of this room is the same as my shower room. i spin in my apartment rather than walk around:)
